Description Timo H 2012-08-01 06:48:07 UTC
meego-terminal shows up as black screen on virtual machines.

Tested with virtual box on osx using a nemo image.

Carsten seems to know the root cause for it:
< Stskeeps> the problem is that ximage backend doesn't allow native buffers

Installation of 'mesa-llvmpipe-dri-swrast-driver' package is a possible workaround that fixed the issue in my case.

Thank you, the same package has solved my problem with terminal also.
It is enough to add such line to nemo-handset-i586-vm.ks to %packages section and re-generate iso/raw image.

[13:08] <Sage> normal or high as it is quite annoying and preventing proper use.

The app startup is somewhat a bit slower, but adding
mesa-llvmpipe-dri-swrast-driver
to %packages makes the lines show on terminal.

This problem seems to occur in any app that has virtual keyboard, at least in terminal and browser.
